About

Why The Thunder Chicken

The Thunder Chicken is designed and Patented by Captain Mark Noble. The Patent within itself proves the "superiority" of this product.

This isn't someone else's idea of a popping cork-this is Captain Mark Noble's idea of PERFECTION!

At the beginning of his fishing career Captain Mark fished with many different people, other Captains, Professionals, and in many different countries. The casting capabilities of other popping corks he (Captain Mark) was using were in-"no way"-meeting "his standards" of a great casting popping cork. They didn't cast very far, tangled the line, and cost more time fishing than he desired to invest in-thus began Captain Noble's process of alleviating the numerous problems everyone was having with the popping corks. He began to create his own-the final product (named by his 2 beautiful daughters) became known as The Thunder Chicken Popping Cork.

Captain Mark Noble hit a home run with this weighted popping cork. I've been using them for years. We have all experienced windy conditions and have struggled with throwing corks into the wind. His weighted corks make casting to your target area a breeze, regardless of the windy conditions.

I must say if you love fishing- but just can't get that edge cut just right on keying in on fishing accuracy, Or if you just wanna have a great day on the water- I highly recommend going out with captain Mark Noble. The man is a true fishing master. He truly understands fishing and how God made it all work- without us humans on the water to feed them. He cares about teaching you about fishing not just making sure you catch something. I went with captain Mark on 5-1-20 with some extreme west winds and dangerously rough waters . A day I would've thought was a waste of time. Captain Mark went straight to the fish! Catching fish in winds that make it hard to stand up straight. If that don't tell you the man's ability nothing will! Thanks for the experience captain Mark,I look forward to another future trip!

So just wanted to say I've been fishing 3 times since my trip out May 1, 2020. 2 were really good days. 1 was not too great, (that was yesterday wind kicked my but it change from west to east and really messed the tide up). So for all 3 trips I had my thunder chicken rigged up and ready. But, I also have the old slip cork -for deeper water . If I'm on structure or water up to about 10 foot I'm casting my thunder chicken. In the water around 10 foot and deeper I have let my slip cork drift down the creek . And, I also let my thunder chicken drift down the creek . ( center of the creek ). Yes I caught some trout under the slip cork. But, here's the hardcore truth from trying 2 types of fishing while the bite was active. The thunder chicken caught MORE! The thunder chicken caught BIGGER! Every trout was under slot on the slip cork . 9 out of 10 trout are keepers on the thunder chicken. Most are 15 inches and bigger from my catches on the thunder chicken. I think that really speaks volumes of natural appearance and the effectiveness of the thunder chicken. 😁

THUNDER CHICKEN REVIEWS

Thunder Chicken Review

from a very Happy Customer

I just wanted to thank
Capt. Mark Noble for his amazing product the Thunder Chicken.
I live about 2.5 hours from the coast and usually take a couple fishing trips each year to Jekyll Island to fish the inshore rivers for trout. Yesterday, a friend and I went fishing in Fancy Bluff Creek and caught our limit of nice trout using
his (Captain Mark's) popping cork. We tried swimming lures and other techniques but his popping cork and DOA shrimp were the "golden ticket"! "This thing is truly amazing". We caught over 50 trout in just a few hours fishing around shell bars on the incoming tide. Thank you so much for this incredible product!

I really enjoy using the Thunder Chicken Popping Cork. I have used every cork on the market and always come back to these excellent popping corks. I use these corks in my charter business and when I am fishing for fun. One of my favorite places to fish is Steinhatchie, Florida. I go several times a year. Last year we counted 13 different species of fish we caught on live shrimp using the Thunder Chicken. Our target fish is BIG trout and we do catch our share of them but there are a LOT of OTHER fishies eating in the Gulf of Mexico and the Thunder Chicken can catch em ALL!!! Great product....highly recommended!!

My name is Mark Mixon and I fished with y'all in (May) -I believe. I was down for a wedding with my wife.

Thanks again for a great trip!  I purchased a few of the Thunder Chicken  Rigs, and love them to death. Been killing it down here in Texas. The Red Fish seem to be attracted!

I think the Thunder Chickens would do great out here in Texas. The Bass Pro I go to is in Houston on Beltway and 288. The only thing we have there are the Cajun Thunder which do not have the same set up as Captain Noble, his just works much better.

Last two weekends I have been using them and caught one 28inch red and three 24inch Reds, along with several other fish like speckles and what not.  I have been kayak fishing with them and folks have been asking me what I am using. I'll Spread the word for yall! :)

Hi, Capt. Mark,

Daniel Dasher here from Vidalia, Ga.  I don't get to fish saltwater very often due to living over 2 hours from the coast.  I have a 14 foot jon boat that I fish with in the local rivers near my home that I will take out a couple times a year near Jekyll Island.  Before my wife's grandfather passed away this year, our whole family would rent a condo at Jekyll for a week around the 4th of July.  It was on one of those vacations that I first discovered your popping cork, and I have been a huge fan ever since.

I'm not a great saltwater fisherman by any stretch of the imagination, and what I have learned has been from watching your YouTube videos and experimentation.  Last weekend, I took my daughter's fishing at the edge of the Jekyll Sound just a 1/2 mile from the boat ramp by Summer Waves.  I never see anyone fishing there, ironically, but I almost always catch plenty of trout there as long as the water is clear.  The water was clear last weekend, and the trout bite was fantastic!  We probably caught over 40 trout in over 2 hours.  The first 5 were all keepers ranging from 14 to 16 inches.  We had a lot close to 14 inches, but the majority were between 12 and 13.5 inches.

One day, I want to come fish with you and learn how to catch those darn redfish.  I often see you catch trout and redfish in the same areas on your videos.  I guess where I go holds a lot more trout than it does redfish.  I will catch one every once in a while where I usually go, but it's not very often.  I'm hoping I can take a trip with you this fall sometime and learn from you.

I have attached some photos of our recent catches.  Please feel free to use them if you like.

Sincerely,

Daniel Dasher

The weekend before, I met a buddy who was vacationing on St. Simons Island, and we did just as well.  We even caught 3 tripletail along the oyster bars/grass lines at the exact same place.  We caught all 3 within 15 minutes on the Thunder Chicken with a DOA shrimp.  We thought we had big redfish until they surfaced. Neither one of us had ever caught one before, so that was quite an experience.  Unfortunately, they were all under 18 inches (2 were 17 1/4...so close!), so we took some pics and let them go.  He was using a Cajun Thunder, and I caught 3 fish to his 1.  I told him to quit being hard headed and tie on one of my Thunder Chickens.  He finally did.

I just wanted to thank you for an awesome product. I know that when I do get to go fishing, I have a tool in the tool bag that is going to help me be successful.  This is especially helpful since all of my children are young and just learning how to fish.  I was proud they made several casts on their own and were able to land some nice fish with your product. It's more than just a fishing tool; it's a means of making lasting memories with my children and teaching them to enjoy God's great outdoors, and that is priceless to me.

Great product. I was looking for a popping cork that: had a sturdy center wire, metal beads, and weighted. This cork has all three, the beads are very loud and will get their attention. First time out with this cork caught my personal best Redfish. Great product, can't recommend enough. 1st time using this product-I am sold! You definitely make a great product.

Hey Mark -It's David Van Winkle from O'Neill's trip back in February. Just wanted to share my story on the Thunder Chicken Popping Cork.

I fished the Chattahoochee River north of West Point Lake where Hybrids, Striper's and White Bass congregate in April. I opened the package of a Thunder Chicken that you so graciously gave Vicki and I and -on "the first cast" within minutes- of working it-- my results speak for itself...lol. I also saw them at our Bass Pro Shop the other day as well. Thanks again for a memorable trip and hope to get down there again for those Sharks and Tarpons.

Thanks again David

Success! Message received.
